JONATHAN DRAKE

I have been a hobby mechanic and vehicle lover since childhood. Cars in particular fascinated me, and through the years I have worked on many different Marques (and a fair few agricultural vehicles), both my own and those of friends and family. The first Mercedes I worked on was the late 1990s E300 I still own and maintain. We then acquired an S class in the late 90s, which I'm currently in the process of repairing. I then bought my CLK about 4 years ago, and my E430 last year. The E430 was in quite a poor state of repair (no valid MOT) when I bought it, and I have since replaced, mended, welded and resolved electrical issues to make it safe and presentable. I've learnt a lot about the model over the years and love helping people solve problems. I have retired from the IT field
